Why Women are Hesitant to go to a Man's Apartment
This might take you by surprise but one of the fears women have of going back to men's homes is how it'll look (or smell). I don't know for sure, but it seems like women are clean creatures by nature.
If your house or apartment is dirty or out of date, women are taking notice. Women relate the cleanliness and style of your home to your personal style and hygiene. Women love men with style. The decor of your home is being judged the moment she walks in the door. She wants to know you're strong and masculine, and one sure way to determine that is the decor of your home.
Let's start with cleanliness. This is the quickest and cheapest way to make sure the girl stays long enough for seconds. Unless you really can't swing it, spend the money to have someone clean your house or apartment once a week. It's affordable and believe me, it's worth it, especially if you hate cleaning like the rest of us. Have your cleaning service come on Fridays so you will be set for the weekend.

The Bathroom- The bathroom of a young guy's apartment can be a nightmare for a girl. It's dirty and nasty, the ENTIRE toilet is covered in piss, there is no paper, soap or towel, and there is a rank smell in there. Guys, if this sounds like a description of your bathroom, be warned. This is one of the two rooms your girl will see no matter how hard you try to keep her from the rest of the place, so clean it up. You don't have to go so far as to put in fluffy pink rugs and ugly little fish soaps to make her feel comfortable in there, but follow this check list to make sure things are in order.
1. Make sure the toilet is clean inside and out, wipe off the urine and put the seat and cover down. Yeah, I know it's your place and you shouldn't have to worry about the seat thing. Just put it down before you go out.
2. Clean off the sink and make sure there is no hair or toothpaste in there.
3. Put some soap near the sink. If you put a bar soap there, make sure it is hair free.
4. Wipe off that nasty mirror so she can get herself beautiful for you.
5. Put a little waste bin in there, with a liner. Women like that crap.
6. Make sure there is plenty of toilet paper, and put it on the dispenser. Women go through about twelve rolls of this per visit, so have some backup handy.
7. Put at least two clean hand towels (the smaller ones) on the bar next to the sink. If she has to use your skanky bath towel to dry her hands, she will be skeeved.
8. The shower should be cleaned. Tubs are usually white, not gray, and make sure there is shampoo and another non-hairy soap in there. You need to have a shower curtain, and it should not have a sticky white film or any black moldy growth. She may or may not take a shower before she leaves, but she will definitely notice.
9. Try to keep your Penthouse magazines and other necessary reading material out of the bathroom when you are expecting company. Seeing this stuff in the bathroom may give her a visual, and that's not a pretty thought.
10. Clean the floor. She should be able to walk in there with bare feet without feeling dirt and hair under her feet, and without having fear of catching a fungus in there.

OK let's move on to the bedroom. This room is also very important because if you are playing it right she should be spending her time in there with you. This room is a little easier because there should be places to hide some stuff you don't want her to see. But here are some things to remember when making the bedroom presentable.
1. Make sure your sheets are clean. Invest in a second or even third set so you can put on some clean ones even if its not laundry day. If the sheets are stained or smell like you've been sleeping on them for a year without washing, she won't want to stay. She might wonder if she's lying on some other girl's sex sheets, and you don't want her thinking about ANYTHING that will turn her off. You can get some extra sheet sets at all kinds of stores. You might not be able to wash your comforter, so here's another idea: Get a cover for it. It's called a duvet cover. You may have to go to one of those bed and bath places to get it, but it works. Just take off the cover on laundry day and wash that, and your comforter will stay clean.

2. Any clothes you are not wearing, clean or dirty, should be out of sight. Remember when Mom would bring your clean laundry to your room and put it on your bed in piles, and you would just pull a clean shirt off the top? That's all done now. Put it in the closet or drawer and out of her sight. Dirty clothes, pick it all up off the floor or wherever it may be, and get a hamper to store it all. If your dirty laundry stinks, get a hamper with a cover to hide that smell.
3. Any other stuff, junk, clutter that is on your bureau, nightstand, or on the floor if you don't have these things, should be cleaned off and thrown away or put away. Put it all in a box and shove it into the closet if you have to.
Kitchen- If you want to be a gentleman, offer to make the woman some coffee in the morning, or even cook her some breakfast on the weekend. But if you let her wander into the kitchen, make sure you have cleaned it before you went out the night before. Here are the things that the woman will notcie:
1. The dishes should be washed and put away.
2. The refrigerator should be free of nasty, moldy leftovers. Don't shove
pizza boxes or chinese food containers in there. Those things make your whole refrigerator smell bad. Not to sound like a woman, but if you insist on keeping leftovers, but them in some sort of
food storage containers.
You can get those cheap plastic things anywhere, and if things go really bad and you don't want to know what's in there anymore, just throw away the
whole container. Using baking soda or one of those refigerator odor absorbers will also help keep the stink out of the fridge.
3. Give the floor a quick sweep to get the crumbs. She doen't want to find any little surprises under her feet.
Living room- just the basics. As for cleaning, make sure the clutter is gone, everything is in its place, and there is no rank odor in there. It's a good idea to get a friend you trust to go into your place, into each room and let you know if there is an offensive smell anyplace. You may not notice a smell because you are used to it, but someone else will be able to detect it easily. For the living room and other rooms, decor is also important, but more on that next.
If you do all or even most of this, not only will women come to your place without fear, they will be impressed. Most guys do not go this far to think of all these things. Sound like too much hoop jumping? Keeping your crib clean and presentable is not really about hoop jumping, but being aware of how you present yourself. Just like the right style and attitude is important in getting the girl to come over for some fun, so is having the right setting for keeping her coming back, if that's what you want.
You may be a young guy living in an apartment or house with roommates. It's not easy to keep a place clean with three or four guys living there, but if you take turns cleaning, or chip in for that cleaning lady, the clean apartment will benefit all the guys living there.
